  • An after-action review is a useful tool for understanding what worked and what did not work for a given local authority. The findings from the after-action review are applied to future iterations of the feedback loop and government responsiveness process.

The feedback loop process is a powerful method when used to identify and resolve a single problem, but it has increasing power when it is used repeatedly. We recommend making the feedback loop process a normal part of business for local authorities.
